## Source used

Live site repo → `public/designs/007-sit-4k.jpg`, 1500×1606 JPEG, top-down sit photo; cross-checked against live cartoon `public/designs/007-sit.svg`. Local copies in `/workspace/loomwork/`.

Carpet is about 1,400 px across → about 1.9 source px per knot. The maze is geometric, so it was rebuilt, not traced.

## Knot context (150 knots/in²)

- 1.5 m round = 59.1 in diameter → about 2,740 in² → **about 410,900 knots**.
- About 12.2 knots per inch each way → **about 723 knots across**; one knot ≈ 2.1 mm.
- The 6000 px render is about 8.3 px per knot, so it is finer than the loom; the design detail is limited by the source photo, not the render.

## Method

Emerald mask → stroke width from distance transform → lattice lines from row/column peaks → 124 straight maze runs located on the distance-transform ridge, spurious edges rejected by interior coverage check → maze drawn as round-capped strokes (`maze-emerald` group, stroke 33.75 mm) → IoU 0.96 against the rectified photo mask. Rope rim traced separately into 4 rope yarns.

## Fidelity — honest notes

- Maze topology (every run, turn and dead end) was checked against the live photo; IoU 0.96. Corners are rendered as clean rounded tube joins, which is how the photo reads.
- The rope rim twist is a simplified trace (4 tones), not a stroke-by-stroke rope.
- Heads-up: an older folder `/workspace/hridaya/brand/loom/KH-008/` (from before the 007/008 renumber, when Tara Code was 008) holds `KH-008-FACE-LOCK.md`, which names `refs/01-PATTERN.jpg` (a rainbow-coloured maze) as the founder's frozen "pattern truth" and says the face is **not locked**. This pack follows the CURRENT live 007 design (cream + emerald), as briefed. The founder should confirm the live maze is the one to weave.
